How creator country is determined in Winnin Intelligence
Learn the four sources we use to assign a country to each creator, and the order in which they apply

Each creator in Winnin Intelligence has one country, taken from the most reliable source available. We check four sources in order of priority, and the first one available defines the country:
- Manual review by our team. Our data team checks and confirms the creator's country. When a manual review exists, it overrides every other source.
- Country declared by the creator. The country the creator set on their own profile, as shared with us by the platform (for example, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram).
- Audience location. If the creator hasn't declared a country, we look at where most of their audience is. For example, if most of a creator's audience is in the United States, the creator is classified as from the United States.
- AI estimate. If none of the sources above is available, an AI model estimates the country from signals such as the language and text patterns in the creator's content and the times they usually publish.
Why is a creator shown in a country I didn't expect?
The last two sources are estimates. They reflect who the creator talks to and how they publish, not necessarily where they live. A creator based in Portugal whose audience is mostly in Brazil, for example, may appear as Brazil.
Can a creator's country change?
Yes. If a higher-priority source becomes available, it replaces the previous one. For example, a manual review by our team replaces a country estimated from audience data.
I think a creator's country is wrong. What can I do?
Contact your account manager adressing the creator's name or profile link and the correct country. Our team will review it, and once confirmed, the manual review takes priority over the other sources.
