How can I find where a white space opportunity is?

Winnin has specific features to identify white space opportunities — cultural territories with untapped potential for the brand or the market

  • Category Page (Culture > Category):
    • Shows what is growing, what is losing momentum, and which themes sustain the category's relevance.
    • The Niches tab displays all category contexts with Engagement, Views, Share of Topics, and Relevance metrics — making it easy to compare opportunities side by side.
  • Topics + Compare:
    • Use the Compare tool (Insights > Compare) to analyze the relevance of multiple topics over time and identify growing territories the brand has not yet occupied.
  • Niches — Strategic Contexts:
    • Create custom contexts (e.g., 'Products', 'Campaigns', 'Emerging Trends') to filter the most relevant niches for the brand's specific challenge.
    • Use 'Happening Now' to identify short-term cultural signals (videos from the last 7 days) before they become consolidated trends.
  • Affinities Tab:
    • Reveals adjacent territories with a strong connection to the main topic's audience — expansion opportunities into new, relevant cultural spaces.
  • ZAI:
    • Ask ZAI: 'Which territories has my brand not yet explored but have high relevance for my audience?'
