What is the maximum value for the Relationship (Affinity) metric?
Understand why this metric has no fixed ceiling and how to interpret it correctly.
There is no fixed maximum value
The Relationship metric does not have a defined maximum. This is because it is calculated from variables that belong to an open domain — such as the number of creators talking about a topic and the volume of videos produced. Since these numbers have no upper limit, neither does the score.
The value could be 10, 100, 1000, or any other number depending on the context being analyzed.
How to use this metric correctly
Because it is a metric that is calculated by context, the Relationship metric should never be interpreted in isolation. The number alone does not tell you whether a relationship is high or low — it only makes sense when compared to other topics.
ExampleIf topic A has a relationship score of 200 with topic B, and 50 with topic C, this indicates that A and B are much closer to each other than A and C. The reading is always relative.
⚠️ Just as there is no ceiling for the number of likes on any given video, there is no ceiling for the Relationship score. Always use this metric comparatively, never as an absolute value.
